Ernest Edwin Ryden (1886-1981), served a pastorate at Gloria Dei, St. Paul, MN and hosted “The Story of Our Hymns” radio program in Minneapolis. He was awarded a D.Div. from Augustana College and a Royal Order of the North Star from the Swedish government for his work with hymnody.
