Charles Forster

(1787-1871)

Charles Forster (1787-1871) was an Anglican pastor who wrote Islam Unveiled, and The Apostolical Authority Of The Epistle To The Hebrews, In Which The Received Title Of The Greek Epistle Is Vindicated Against The Cavils Of Objectors, Ancient And Modern, From Origen To Sir J. D. Michaelis, Chiefly Upon Grounds Of Internal Evidence Hitherto Unnoticed. He served as Rector of Essex and as one of the six preachers in the Cathedral of Christ, Canterbury. Forster was friendly to the Oxford Movement. His grandson was E. M. Forster.
